Meet Dr. Lance Crawford
Dr. Lance W. Crawford graduated in 1971 from the University of Iowa with a Bachelor of Science degree. In 1975 he graduated from Loyola University College of Dentistry with his DDS and in 1981 completed his Endodontic Specialty residency and Masters Degree in Oral Biology. He was mentored by the late, great Franklin Weine DDS,MSD respected worldwide for his extensive pioneering research regarding canal configuration. His teaching stressed clinical Specialty Endodontics which Dr. Crawford has practiced with pride for over 35 years in Ames and Fort Dodge, Iowa.
Prior to that tenure he practiced General Dentistry in Chariton and Osceola, Iowa. He would like to thank many referring dentists and the thousands of patients he has treated for entrusting their care to him.
He has been privileged to teach clinical Endodontics at the University of Iowa College of Dentistry on several occasions through the years to the dental students and the Endodontic residents. Dr. Crawford has shared his experience and clinical expertise through continuing education presentations to general dentists throughout his career.
During his many years in specialty private practice, implementation of the latest and most up to date equipment and techniques have been high priorities in an attempt to make Endodontic treatment as routine as possible for his patients.

Dr. Crawford has been married to his wife Vicki since 1971, and they have 3 children and 8 grandchildren. He is proud to his have son Jon in the practice now! His interests outside the offices include his family first, golf, fishing and boating.
